The Genesis Association was established in 1993 as a Voluntary Organisation committed to creating better opportunities when help is needed by disadvantaged unemployed- primarily the mature unemployed through ageism- to make full use of their abilities and build recognition of their skills maintaining their employability and a fair chance in the work force.
We are gaining excellent results seeking employment opportunities using the unadvertised jobs market and networking securing positions in large National Organisations and SMEs.
Our vision for the 21st Century is a brighter future for the mature unemployed because we are committed to the problem of the ageing workforce, unemployment and the education of Companies.

At Drop - In Centres in Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham we give sincere helpful advice which is not readily available to the unemployed from advisors who have been made redundant from industry and commerce and have empathy because they know how they felt. We are proud of our service, which has saved numerous unemployed thousands of pounds by the way We Recognise Bogus Companies and How They Operate. Another service we offer is in-depth knowledge of the benefits system, DfEE and representation of appeals procedure.
Genesis has the valuable support of BNFL, Kellogg's, Brother Industries, Morgan Crucible Plc, Wrexham C.B.C, Flintshire C.C , Denbighshire C.C plus AVOW, Denbighshire and Flintshire Voluntary Organisations to continue to build and pursue its aims of enabling the disadvantaged unemployed to make full use of their abilities and build recognition of their skills maintaining their employability.
Genesis runs special formulated motivational and confidence building skills courses, which are free to the unemployed, by using Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) which is unique to Genesis. Bob Hargreaves M. ANLP, who was awarded Master Practitioner in NLP studying under the Project Fenix a Trans European initiative, runs the course for the unemployed.
